The Gulf Coast Prairie and Gulf Coastal Plains and Ozarks LCCs brought together members of the geospatial data community to the first Joint LCC Geospatial Science Meeting, held January 19th and 20th, 2016 at the Mississippi Crafts Center in Ridgeland, MS.

Objectives of the meeting were to:

1) Facilitate communication among the LCC geospatial science community;

2) Identify common geospatial data needs to meet LCC science and partner priorities and scope a plan to address those needs;

3) Identify a path forward for integrating land cover and other data and assessing landscape change;

4) Discuss ways to effectively deliver and integrate geospatial science into conservation decisions.

The meeting was a great success with over 40 partners and LCC staff in attendance.  The final agenda and comprehensive draft meeting notes summarizing presentations and discussion are attached in draft form below.  Pdf's of presentations given during the meeting are also available below.
